    Russell is an experienced board adviser, Audit Committee Chair, and governance specialist with over 30 years of experience in risk, internal audit, corporate governance & board effectiveness across over 60 countries.  He works with boards and senior leaders to strengthen governance, improve decision-making, and enhance organisational performance.  He is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, and holds an MBA from Henley Business School.  He has served as a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair.  He brings deep practical experience of how boards operate in complex and regulated environments.  Additionally, Russell tutors on the Financial Times Board Director Programme, where he supports current and aspiring board members in developing effective governance practices.  He integrates governance expertise with behavioural insights, including Belbin team role analysis and executive coaching approaches, to provide boards with practical, evidence-based insights.
